Input / proposal by;
1. Manual Cutting
- trainer required to enhance effectiveness & efficiency operator in term of reduce high rejection.
- ensure the part material adequate before run the part in term of overcome waiting time waste.
- run the part according to proper and same material arrangement to avoid delay on setting change part.
2. Manual Crimping
- raise height of every poly bin which is placed on the floor at beside of work table in term of overcome movement waste.
- production leader intend to assist Technicians during in their busy time which overcome waiting time waste.
- trainer required to enhance effectiveness & efficiency operator in term of reduce high rejection.
- required rack for loose ring terminal which is kept under table.
3. Auto Cutting
- required one place for material storage where currently in two or three place which enable to eliminate the transportation and waiting time waste.
- training required to enhance the understanding on rejection criteria which over come defect waste.
- ensure the part material adequate before run the part in term of overcome waiting time waste.
4. Inserting
- Home worker wire request to count and bundling by home worker or sub-con where it could avoid to recount and re-bundling by inserting and when wire sent to Final Qc, the wire count and bundling can be only once before proceed for inspection.
5. Store
- Tba.
6. Technician
- Request for feet feeder for those komax Gamma-311 without where it could overcome wire entangle etc which reduce down time.
7. MSMi
- Training required for Final QC by observing on specific high rejection rate portion.

ReplyDeleteWith below input / proposal for Kaizen activity, here I would like informed that after discussed and reviewed by Mr. Wai, We have selected Two kaizen Activity i.e. for;
- required rack for loose ring terminal which is kept under table (Manual Crimping). Minor
- self setting by operator for machine kodera (Tyco) without guide by Technicians (Auto Cutting). Major
Team member corporation is highly required to successful the Continuous Kaizen Activity.

Muda Descr - Insufficient training and awareness at operator. Leader waiting for Techinician during change part which caused down time.
Improvement Activity - Technician train Leader & operator in enhance productivity. (Conduct rotation Training)
